Salt storage for a herring warehouse
The building was built in 1881/82 as a residence for a brewery. Around 1902 the building was used as a salt store for the herring industry. It remained in use as such until 1965. It is located on the Oosthavenkade in Vlaardingen (NL).
The brickwork is saturated with salt.
Now it is again a brewery.
