PKN Orlen, kombinat w Plocku | PKN Orlen refining and petrochemical complex in Plock
The Plock refining and petrochemical complex is the largest refinery in Poland and one of the largest plants of this kind in Europe. The refinery was built in 1960 - 1964 nearby Przyjazn (Drushba) pipeline. The refinery has processing capacity around 320 thousands barrels of crude per day (16 million tons per year). The petrochemical unit makes an ethylene, propylene, paraxylene and more products. The complex has huge cogeneration plant. A construction site of new CCGT unit is visible on left foreground.
