Lownathwaite Lead Mine
The ruins of Lownathwaite Lead Mine are located in the valley of Gunnerside Gill north from Gunnerside in Swaledale (Yorkshire Dales/England).
A limekiln and the remains of the flue of the smelter at Blakethwaite Mill to which this mine was connected are barely visible in the far background.
