Manifattura Tabacchi di Bologna

The new Tobacco State Factory of Bologna was designed by Pier Luigi Nervi and built in various stages between the 1950s and 60s, to replace the old plant dating back from the XIX century and located in the former port area in the city center. It was closed by the British American Tobacco company in 2008 and now is undergoing several restoration works to become and technologic and scientific park in the next years.
