Naviglio and Power Plant
Turbigo town is famous for its huge thermoelectric power plant, operating since 1928. Today the complex is owned by Edipower (Edison Company), and it is so divided:
- section 1 (gas/oil) - 250 MW - year 1967
- section 2 (gas/oil) - 320 MW - year 1970
- section 3 (gas/oil) - 330 MW - year 1970
- section 4 (gas combined cicle) - 850 MW - year 2006

The picture was taken from a bridge on the Naviglio Grande canal (running from Adda river to Ticino one, passing through the old town of Milano), which water is still used by the power station. This one is visible in the background.
