Headframe at Bispberg
Bispberg is one of the best preserved mines in the Swedish Bersgslagen area. Mining started in the 16th century and continued until 1967. At the time the main shaft had reached a depth of 520m. Shaft dimensions were 2,5 x 5,2 m. There was also a shaft for exploration purposes, which reached a depth of 830m.
