The Jiayang Power Company in deepest rural Sichuan operates an integrated power plant and mining operation with associated railway service. There are two power stations of which the older is situated in the small town of Yuejin. Coal from the Yuejin mine for this plant is brought across the river by conveyor. The bank of small coolers supports a range of ferns and also bamboo around the base.
