Chubb's Lock Works
Chubb's were one of the largest manufacturers of locks in the United Kingdom, and the name survived until 2010, although by that stage part of another group of companies. This was their main headquarters in Wolverhampton, which included some manufacturing facilities, built in 1898.
The building remained empty from the 1960s to the 1990s, but in 1994 was refurbished as an Arts and Media centre. This has been done in the best traditions of british conversions of historic industrial premises.
