Dortmund Thier Brauerei

Just to mention it here.
At the moment the last big industrial site in the center of dortmund (the main street with all the shops is less than 200 meters away) is being demolished.
It is the Thier brewery. You see here the main hall ("Abfüllhalle") where the beer was filled in barrels and bottles.
About 20 years ago Dortmund was called the "beer city of europe", the town where the most beer was brewed. Long ago. Now there is only one brewery (DAB-Dortmunder Actien Brauerei) left.
A large shopping center will be built here...
