The installations of mechanical hauling were very used from 1850 in the mines in which the internal routing of mine cars was rather long, like collieries or iron mines.
This one, observed in the region of the « minette », was brutally stopped at the beginning of the World War II, leaving whole trains of ore abandoned inside and now quasi fossilized.
