The Vallourec Mannesmann works in Germany were shutdown for good few month ago.
Does it mean there is no demand for hot rolled tubes?
Not at all! The production was simply transferred Vallourec Jeceaba works in Brazil, where making the iron&steel is way more simple.
This charcoal beauty was erected in 2018(!) and supplies local electric steel mill with molten metal.
Vallourec Jeceaba is currently one of the world´s leading manufacturers of seamless pipes for the oil and gas industry.
