Cartiera di Marzabotto
What you see here is the first plant built in Europe for "de-inking" used paper, to recycle it to produce new paper. It was opened in 1967 in the paper mill of Marzabotto (a village near Bologna mostly known for the worst Nazi massacre in Western Europe), a factory dating back from 1746.
Its triangle shape that follows the nearby railway track (see the location https://goo.gl/maps/BjZAvDs9krk ) gives the illusion that the building is made of a single wall.
