Cartiera di Marzabotto

Abandoned building once housing one of the three paper machines in the Cartiera di Marzabotto, located in the village of Lama di Reno near Bologna.
This paper mill operated since the early XVIII century until 2006. It experienced its major splendor during the Italian economic boom of the 1950s-60s, when the Rizzoli publishing company produced there the paper for its tabloids and magazines.
