A form of industrial lounging
|
Industrial hall from the former engineering works N.V Werkspoor ("Koninklijke Nederlandsche Fabriek van Werktuigen en Spoorwegmaterieel") founded in 1870: they have been building steam engines, motors and rolling stock. In 1897 they've been merged with the engineering works Stork. In 1989 they've been taken over and the works at Amsterdam-Oostenburg (NL) has been closed. The site with the former buildings is now a "cultural lab" and is housing small firms.
This hall dates back from 1897.
