Uranium mine Gittersee (near Dresden) was opened during the 50īs and was active till 1990. After itīs closure was abandoned until 2005, when the headframes were dismanlted and transpored to Freital as a technical monuments. 40 years together, now situated in different parts of the town - schacht no.1 in south and schacht no.2 in north)
