=Julius III=

Deep brown coal mine Julius III in Kopisty was deepened in 1882, activated 6 years later. The uniqueness of this site is in well preserved steam engine Erhardt manufactured in 1891 in Prague. As the still active opencasts nearby were spreading, site was closed in 1991.
Now open for public, situated on south-west border of Chemopetrol plant.
