Old Cork Factory - Griffintown - Canada
The Griffintown suburb in Montreal grew during the 19th century with migrants coming from Ireland. Near the port and the canal Lachine, it became the most industrial place in Montreal. Most of the plants used the hydraulic force created by the canal. Today, the suburb is destroyed little by little, leaving only new towers full of condominiums and without history.
