Monument dedicated to Hippolyte Guillery (1793-1849) in Chokier (B). He normalized the course of the Meuse by rectifying it and by building 10 locks between the 2 administrative centres of the province Liège. He has also designed a continuous tow path. Boats were able to circulate winter as summer without fear of the sudden floods or the catastrophic declines of water.
