STAVECO
This huge military complex (90.000 mē) was one of the largest industries in Bologna. Opened in 1880, it operated as a munition factory until World War I, then it was reused as a facility for tank maintenance: the name means "STabilimento VEicoli COrazzati", Armored Vehicles Plant.
Today the buildings and the sheds are under renovation to host in the next years a new campus of the university.
