Generator at Barsebäck
|
The nuclear powerplant at Barsebäck has two identical blocks with one reactor each.
Steam from one reactor is fed to one high pressure turbine and three low pressure turbines mounted on the same axle as the generator. The image shows the 620MW water cooled generator delivered by Stal Laval in 1975. The turbines are located behind the low wall.
