Näs power station (1898)
The original Näs power station in Dalälven river. Initially the station had 2 200 kW turbines. After the expansion to 13 turbines in 1913, it was one of the largest in Sweden. In 1980 a new station, located on the other side of the dam, was taken in to service. The old station has been preserved.
