Parabolic warehouse - Casale Monferrato (Alessandria) - Internal view

Klinker warehouse for a cement plant now demolished.
Builted il 1917 this was the first example of parabolic warehouse in Italy, and maybe in Europe, some decades before Pier Luigi Nervi.
Some archive researches suggests that the beams was builted a few years after the warehouse, because at the time this type of structure seems not safe to the workers.
If this hypotesis is true, this building can be considered as one of the engineering masterpiece of the XX century.
