Viscosa di Pavia
Last days of the first italian viscose factory, dating back to 1906.
The huge complex, later owned by SNIA company and many times enlarged, closed down in 1978. Some of the oldest buildings won't be demolished thanks to some citizens that have fought to preserve an important piece of Pavia - and Italy - industrial history. The entire factory, now, is completely demolished except those just mentioned buildings.
