Welcome to silesian jungle!
The Rybnik Coal Area (in polish: Rybnicki Okreg Weglowy, ROW) is one of the most beautiful part of Upper Silesia. A combination of mounds, hills, forests and coal mines makes that region very fine. A view of a shaft Powietrzny I (also called as Erbreich) in Czernica, near Rydultowy. This active ventilation shaft is a part of Rydultowy coal mine, now the oldest running colliery in Poland, inaugurated in 1792.
