Ferriere Fenotti&Comini
Fenotti&Comini iron works was built in 1947 and closed in 1990. It is located in the north of Brescia, one of the most industrialized italian cities, especially in iron-working (an important regional tradition since many centuries because of the iron ores in the Alps). This factory was specialized in reinforcing iron rods (Eisenstange?) as many of the ironworks in the region. Closure incame for unhealty working conditons (small works, no rules) and because people who lived in new houses around the plant didn't want more it in the garden.
