Patterns of Industry - Partridge Nest Blast Furnace

This typical 18th Century cold blast furnace near Stoke-on-Trent was in use only from 1790 to 1801, which probably explains its good state of preservation. Renovation work was carried out in the 1980sIt is situated in a private garden, but the owner is very welcoming to visitors.
Typische Hochofen des Endes des 18. Jh mit Kaltluftdrück. Er war halt 1790 bis 1801 in Betrieb, deshalb wohl im heutigen guten Zustand. Sanierungsarbeit enstand nach 1980. Auf einem Privatgrundstück, der Inhaber macht aber wilkommen.
