Sigarenfabrieken Willem II
|
This factory at Boschveldweg in 's-Hertogenbosch (NL) was built in 1898 to a design by P.Th. Stornebrink and W.G. Welsing. The progressive Goulmy & Baar commissioned a very modern building for that time, both architecturally and the facilities that were present in the building.
In 1908 the building received a number of extensions. In the 1930s, the factory became the property of the Valkenswaard cigar manufacturer Willem II.
In 1987, the former cigar factory was taken into use by the Willem II Concert Hall together with the Pop collective, who housed rehearsal rooms here.
